SOAS is a centre of excellence and knowledge ref African studies, drawing students from Africa and elsewhere - How are ICTs impacting students and the student experience at SOAS and elsewhere? - How would we like to see that developing in future? - Rhetoric and reality – a variety of voices - ICTs are also relevant to SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) - http://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/blog/2015/10/icts-for-a-sustainable-world/ - Sustainable Development Goal 4 is: Ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning - http://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/development-agenda/ - How do we move forward connecting our ideas with the existing power structures and funding agencies to turn ideas into actions?
