SODOTO Pattern

See One, Do One, Teach One

Kerry Turner and Marc Pierson are committed to sharing with civil society what we have learned. We intend to return the value to others so that they can do what they see us do and then teach others. **See one. Do one. Teach one**.

This practice is the inspiration for Marc and Kerry's SODOTO Pattern and the Viral Academy project that brought me to Federated Wiki in 2012.

**CONTEXT:**

The agreement, Contract, is that they are in our debt until they have "Done One" to our satisfaction, "Taught One" to our satisfaction and that their student has done one to their satisfaction.

All we want is for people to pay it forward.

The obligation is halved when they have successfully Taught One to our satisfaction.

Their obligation is retired in its entirety when their student has "done one" to their satisfaction.

We hope that they will enter into the same SODOTO arrangement with their students.

We hope to use Cyclos4 Pro for open-source volunteers making and tracking commitments to Pay it Forward.

We hope to use "Cyclos4 Community" currency platform to track the progression of skill sharing. This should help us all learn how to be better at seeing, doing, and teaching critical skill for civil society. In many local cases communities should be able to outperform remote business and big governments. Once we have the proven skills the resources are more likely to follow.

We want to use this community currency platform to keep track of value given by individuals and exponential value returned to the community.
